In the east of Serbia, about 20 kilometers from Negotin, on the hill above the village of Rajac, there are place called Rajačke pimnice. Pimnice is, in fact, a settlement made for the production and storage of wine. All cellars are built in the same way and in a recognizable rustic style, a combination of stone and wood. The first floor is furnished for the winegrowers to spend the night and stay, while the ground floor, i.e. the cellar, is intended for the wine that is stored there. |
